Section 1: Understanding Your Booking
Voymaze offers aunique travel experience where the destination remains a surprise until shortlybefore departure.
Here's what you should understand:
The Element of Surprise: We meticulously plan your trip but will not reveal your destination in advance.
What's TypicallyIncluded:
- Roundtrip Flights: We secure flights to your surprise destination, departing from your specified airport.
- Accommodations: Your accommodations will align with your preferences indicated in the questionnaire (hotels, charming guesthouses, etc.).
- Curated Activities (Optional): Based on your interests, we might include some hand-picked activities or experiences to enhance your trip.
What's Not Included
- Local Taxes: Any city, tourist, or airport departure taxes are your responsibility.
- Most Meals: Unless otherwise specified, meals are not included, allowing you the flexibility to explore the local culinary scene.
- Discretionary Spending: Souvenirs, additional activities, and other personal spending are not covered.
- Unexpected Travel Fees: Some unforeseen fees, such as certain baggage charges, may apply.

Our in-depth questionnaire is essential for designing your ideal surprise trip. Pleaseprovide thorough and accurate details about your travel style, preferences,must-haves, and any destinations you'd like to avoid. This information allowsus to create an unforgettable experience tailored just for you.
Preparing for Your Adventure
- Destination Reveal: The excitement builds! You'll receive your surprise destination reveal 2 days before departure, giving you the ultimate thrill of discovery right at the airport.
- Weather Updates: To help with your packing, we'll send a weather forecast for your destination one week before departure, along with regular updates.
- Custom Packing List: A tailored packing list will ensure you're ready for anything, regardless of the destination.

Section 2: Payments
- Securing Your Adventure: To confirm your Voymaze trip and start the exciting process of curating your surprise, you'll have two payment options:
- Full Payment: Pay the total cost of your trip at the time of booking. This secures your flights, accommodations, and any special experiences we've planned based on your preferences.
- 3-Installment Plan: Split the cost of your trip into three equal payments. You'll see the installment amounts and due dates clearly outlined on your checkout page before finalizing your booking. The final installment will be due at least 30 days before your departure date.
- Price Fluctuations: While rare, it's possible that prices (especially flight costs) could change significantly between the time you receive your Trip Proposal and when we finalize the bookings. If this occurs, we'll notify you immediately. You'll have the option to either accept the new price or explore other possible travel dates or destinations that fit your original budget.
- Flexibility for Shorter Trips: If you're booking a shorter adventure, we may be able to adjust the payment schedule on a case-by-case basis. Contact us to discuss your specific needs.
Section 3:Cancellations & Changes (By You)
Let Us Know ASAP: If you need to cancel or significantly changeyour Voymaze trip, notify us immediately via email at [wecare@voymaze.com]. Thesooner we know, the better our chances of working with suppliers to minimizelosses.
Understanding Your Options
Your options forcancellations or changes depend on whether you've purchased a FlexPassprotection plan.
Without FlexPass
- Possible Refunds: Refunds may be possible, depending on how far in advance you cancel. Here's a general guideline:some text
- More than 30 Days Before Departure: Up to 50% refund of eligible trip costs*
- 30 Days to 1 Week Before Departure: Partial refunds MAY be possible for certain elements (accommodations, some activities), but not guaranteed. Flight changes or cancellations within this timeframe are highly unlikely.
- Less than 1 Week Before Departure: No refunds are typically possible due to pre-booked, non-refundable arrangements.
- Change Fees: Changes to dates or itineraries will incur the following fees, in addition to any costs imposed by airlines, hotels, and other providers:some text

- 30 to 14 Days Before Departure: €40 change fee
- Less than 14 Days Before Departure: €50 change fee
With FlexPass
- FlexPass Essentials
- Enhanced Protection: FlexPass Essentials offers greater flexibility and financial protection if your plans need to change. This includes:
- Increased Refunds: Receive higher refund percentages in case of cancellation, based on the same timeframes outlined above.
- Change Fee Protection: Adjust your dates or itinerary without incurring hefty change fees typically charged by airlines and certain accommodations.
- Unexpected Disruption Support: Get assistance and potential reimbursement for covered travel hiccups (flight delays, lost luggage, etc.).
- Priority Booking Support: Have your questions and itinerary adjustments handled quickly by our team.
FlexPass Enhanced
- Maximum Peace of Mind: FlexPass Enhanced offers the highest level of coverage for unforeseen circumstances. It includes everything in FlexPass Essentials, PLUS:
- Increased Reimbursements: Even higher coverage limits for cancellations and unexpected events.
- Trip Postponement Option: If circumstances outside of your control arise, you can postpone your entire trip to a later date, once within a 12-month period.*
- 24/7 Travel Support: A dedicated line for urgent assistance during your trip, ensuring you're never stranded.
Important Notes(Applicable to ALL Cancellations)
- Refunds Exclude FlexPass Cost: The price of the FlexPass itself is non-refundable.
- Eligible Trip Costs: Refunds apply to core components booked by Voymaze: flights, standard accommodations, and most Voymaze-planned activities. Some special experiences or add-ons may have their own, stricter cancellation policies, which will be outlined at the time of booking.
Section 4: Cancellations & Changes (By Voymaze)
Possible Reasonsfor Changes
While we strive todeliver your Voymaze trip exactly as planned, there may be unforeseencircumstances that require changes or even cancellation. These could include:
- Natural Disasters or Pandemics: Events like earthquakes, severe storms, or health outbreaks could make travel unsafe or impossible.
- Insufficient Bookings: If a particular trip doesn't reach the minimum number of participants [if applicable].
- Sudden Unavailability: Issues with key suppliers (flights, accommodations) that are beyond our control.
Your Rights
We understand thatunexpected changes can be disappointing. If Voymaze needs to significantlyalter or cancel your trip, we will make every effort to provide the followingoptions:
- Alternative Trip: Choose a comparable surprise trip on different dates, or to a similar destination, if available.
- Postponement: If possible, and if you prefer, we'll work with you to postpone your entire trip to a later date.
- Refund: Based on how far in advance the cancellation occurs:
- More than 30 Days Before Departure: Up to 75% refund of eligible trip costs*
- 30 Days to 1 Week Before Departure: 50% refund of eligible trip costs*
- Less than 1 Week Before Departure: No refunds are typically possible due to pre-bookings.
Force Majeure
"ForceMajeure" refers to extraordinary events beyond our control, such as thoselisted above. In these cases, Voymaze will prioritize finding alternativearrangements for your trip, including postponement to a safe and feasible timeor the selection of a new surprise destination. We strongly recommend travelinsurance to protect yourself against unforeseen circumstances.
Our Commitment
We prioritize creatinga positive experience for you. If your Voymaze trip needs to be altered, we'llwork diligently to find the best possible solution and keep you informedthroughout the process.

Section 5: YourResponsibilities
To ensure a smooth andenjoyable Voymaze experience, please keep the following in mind:
- Passport, Visa, & Health Requirements: You are responsible for ensuring you have a valid passport with sufficient expiry dates, any necessary visas, and comply with all health regulations for your destination. While Voymaze can offer general guidance, the ultimate responsibility for travel eligibility lies with you. We suggest checking official government websites for the most up-to-date requirements.
- Information Accuracy: The success of your surprise trip depends on the details you provide in your questionnaire. Please be as thorough and honest as possible when answering questions about your preferences, limitations, allergies, and travel style.
- Flexibility & Understanding: Due to the nature of surprise travel, minor itinerary adjustments may sometimes be necessary. A positive attitude and open-mindedness will greatly enhance your Voymaze experience.
- Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance to protect yourself from unexpected events such as flight cancellations, medical emergencies, or lost luggage. Voymaze is not liable for costs incurred due to insufficient coverage.

Section 6: Voymaze's Responsibilities & Limitations

- Trip Planning: We'll carefully design your trip based on your questionnaire, securing flights, accommodations, and (if applicable) select activities.
- Destination Selection: Your destination will be chosen with your preferences, travel dates, and budget in mind.
- Quality Standards: We strive to work with reputable airlines and accommodations. Your trip budget will influence the level of accommodation we can secure, prioritizing comfort, cleanliness, and a style that matches your preferences.
- Pre-Trip Support: We'll provide a destination reveal, weather updates, and a custom packing list, and we're available to answer your questions.
Limitations
- The Surprise Element: The thrill of Voymaze lies in the unknown! While accommodations will suit your tastes, we cannot guarantee specific hotels or star ratings in advance.
- Third-Party Providers: While we vet our partners, we are not responsible for their actions or omissions (flight changes, hotel issues, etc.). We'll do our best to advocate for you and find solutions should any issues arise.
- Force Majeure: Events beyond our control (natural disasters, pandemics, etc.) may necessitate trip changes or cancellations.

Section 7: TravelInsurance
Strong Recommendation, NOT a Requirement
"Voymaze stronglyrecommends that you obtain comprehensive travel insurance to protect yourselffrom a wide range of unexpected events that could disrupt your trip. Travelinsurance can provide coverage for situations such as:
- Trip Cancellation or Interruption: If you need to cancel before departure, or cut your trip short due to illness, emergencies, etc.
- Flight Delays or Cancellations: Reimbursement for extra accommodation, meals, or alternative transport if your flights are affected.
- Medical Emergencies: Coverage for overseas medical treatment, including emergency evacuation if needed. Lost or Stolen Baggage: Compensation for lost, damaged, or delayed luggage and belongings.
- Other Unexpected Events: Depending on your policy, coverage for natural disasters, travel advisories, and more.
Voymaze'sResponsibility: While we takeevery precaution to ensure a smooth trip, travel insurance offers essentialprotection beyond our control. Please note, Voymaze is not liable for any costsor losses incurred due to a lack of travel insurance.

When selecting atravel insurance policy, consider the following:
- Coverage Levels: Choose a policy that aligns with your trip cost and any specific concerns (pre-existing health conditions, adventure activities, etc.).
- Provider Reputation: Read reviews and compare policies from reputable travel insurance companies.
- Policy Details: Carefully review the policy's terms, coverage limits, and exclusions.
